We remember the moment we saw our first american curl Murphy.
His  Beautiful brilliant eyes, affectionate, charming personality, long soft coat,
and curled ears like the symbol of a fairy...
As soon as we saw him we have a premonition life change.

American curl is the best companion cat that has outstanding appearance,
human-friendly personality and intelligence. These small fairies know their worth
and also have the ability to get themselves loved by us.
To spread the happiness with these small magicians satisfying us with warmth
and great pleasure, we opened our cattery on January 2003.

CurlyElfin means a small fairy(elf) with curled ears. We imagined them
with their mysterious and lovely appearance flying like fairies in our dreams
or fantasy world. When we see them we think the curious sly-boots came to us
to give the happiness and trust of the miracle in our lives.

All cats in our cattery is our beloved family who shares their feelings
with us, Not just a pet.
All of our cats and kittens are raised under foot, no cages.
Our home is a clean, safe and non-smoking environmen.

CurlyElfin will endeavor to maintain their temperament and specific character.
We will breed the american curl with ideal beauty and health since we believe
that all life has the right of peace and happiness.

To practice this belief we take good care of our faires.

Our cattery is registered in CFA(Cat Fancier Association #206060) and
TICA(The International Cat Association). American Curl Long hair Only.
And we share the mind to make the desirable breeding and the ethical treatment
of cats with both associations.

컬리엘핀의 첫 번째 아메리칸 컬 고양이가 된 머피를 처음 본 순간을 지금도 생생하게 기억합니다. 아름답게 빛나는 커다란 눈동자와 길고 부드러운 털, 요정의 표식처럼 신비롭게 말린 귀, 온순하고 다정다감하면서도 낙천적이며 매력적인 성격.. 처음 보는 그 순간부터 그가 저희의 인생을 바꿀 거라는 예감이 들었습니다.

컬리엘핀이라는 이름은, 구부러진 혹은 뒤로 말린 귀를 가진 작은 요정이라는 뜻으로, 꿈 속이나 환상의 동화 속에서 나오는 숲속을 날아다니는 작은 요정과도 같이 신기하고도 매력적인 외모를 가진 아메리칸 컬의 이미지에서 착안한 이름입니다. 아메리칸 컬을 보고 있노라면, 호기심 많은 장난꾸러기 요정들이 행복을 나눠주는 마법력의 표식으로써 귀를 뒤로 둥글게 말고서 이 지구상에 놀러 나온 게 아닐까 하는 생각이 듭니다. 이 아이들과 함께 있으면 정말로 놀라운 기적이 일어날 것 같은 믿음이 생기거든요!! ^^
